Brighton man was found dead in Bangkok parking lot, inquest hears. Inquest into the death of 24-year-old Brighton man, 24-years-oldarnel Kimbia, from Brighton, has opened at Woodvale Coroner's Court in Thailand. Assistant coroner Gareth Jones said a report from Thailand said Mr Kimbia had jumped from a top floor building, and a provisional cause of death has been given as head injury. The inquest has been adjourned to a full inquest scheduled to take place on March 11, 2024, at 11am with senior coroner Penelope Schofield.

Darnel Kimbia, from Brighton, was travelling in Thailand when he died on September 7 this year.
The 24-year-old, of Phoenix Rise, Brighton, was formally identified by with his passport in a parking lot.
In an inquest into his death, opened on October 18 at Woodvale Coroner’s Court, assistant coroner Gareth Jones said a report from Thailand said Mr Kimbia had jumped from a top floor building.
A provisional cause of death has been given as head injury.
The interested person listed was his father, named Christopher Kimbia.
Opening the inquest, Mr Jones said: “I have reason to suspect his death was not a natural one.”
The inquest has been adjourned to a full inquest scheduled to take place on March 11, 2024, at 11am with senior coroner Penelope Schofield.
